Looking back at March 14, 2015, I see I posted a similar slice on Pi Day. Last year it was blueberry, today it’s lemon meringue. I love lemon meringue pie and don’t mind making it, but I always struggle a bit with the meringue – sometimes sticky, never high enough. But I’ve come to realize that it’s the taste people most care about, and that is always luscious. Enjoy!

So creative! I made chocolate chip meringue cookies for the first time yesterday - at the request of my 16 year old. He even googled the recipe for me... Meringue is tricky - my first venture, but they were great. I love your ling - taste buds alerted - I can totally taste your pie!

My favorite pie! It looks deliciously delicious! Any chance there will still be a sliver to taste when I arrive on Wednesday morning?

Love the alert for the taste buds! Happy Pi day! Now, I'm thinking I need to make a chocolate chip pie.

I'm not good at crusts either, but Pillsbury makes a great refrigerated crust that I always use!

I must say now my "taste buds are alerted". I love the few words that say so much, at least for those of us who love lemon meringue pie.

Not sure which is "tastier" the pie or the haiku! Perfect post for Pi day!! Thanks!

I cannot believe that the photo you posted above was taken last 2015. It's not the usual photo of a blueberry pie we see on different blog sites about food, but it's enticing enough to keep me hungry. Thank you for posting that blueberry pie here! Putting a meringue there was a good idea. I have to try it anytime soon since it looks really delicious and I've been raving for sweet food right now! I am thinking that this might be the answer to my cravings.
